Went with my wife and 7 & 13 y/o sons. Choose this tour because i only wanted a half day and glad I did as i watched 100's board the other boat. Only need to bring towels and sun screen, everything else it supplied. Good food and facilities on boat. Trip is ideal for young kids and adults who can't... More

Unfortunately the tour we took was better for beginning snorkelers and families. There is only snorkeling from the beach on the island and while there is some great Reef corals and fish, the beginners kept kicking the sand up on the bottom and the visibility was terrible. It was a very hot day and there were way too many people... More

My husband and I went on this cruise yesterday and it was a great way to spend the day. All the crew were friendly and helpful. The marine biologist onboard was not only knowledgeable but she was very bubbly and enthusiastic. Snorkeling with reef sharks was an unexpected bonus! We would highly recommend this tour

Everything about this cruise was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our day out cruising on this beautiful catamaran to the Low Isles and spending the afternoon snorkelling from the beach of this stunning island. The crew were so friendly and helpful and John the Marine Biologist was so knowledgable and passionate. We enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch and then back to... More

The day was organised very well. All the crew were fantastic and we didn't feel rushed at any point. Being low season, there was only about 40 other people on the boat so if felt like a much more personalized trip. Great trip for non-swimmers as well...you don't miss out on seeing coral and fish thanks to their glass bottom... More

If you only have one day to snorkel over the coral, take the Low Isles trip on Wavedancer, operated by Quicksilver Cruises. The journey to the island is about 45 minutes from Port Douglas, and once there a shuttle boat takes you from Wavedancer to the island. From there you can slide into the water from the beach - very... More

We booked the WaveDancer while on a cruise in Australia. We had a very full day at sea, first enjoying our ride on catamaran to the Low Isles, then touring the reef on a glass bottom boat. We could clearly see the various corals and fish including a reef shark which swam directly under us. It was a good experience.... More

We were picked up from our hotel in Cairns but as we were the only people on the bus for quite a while the driver gave us a private tour which was great as we didn't have much time in that in part of Australia. There was plenty of space on board inside and out. Iced water and squash was... More
