Definitely worth a visit to this cemetery, if you’re into this type of thing. It’s a sad but interesting experience. Lots of young kids and babies.

Visited as part of a bike tour, interesting history to the founding of Cairns and its development. Shaded and interesting to visit.

This Cemetary is charming. Well kept old graves. Metal wrought iron surrounds on some if the graves and elaborate headstones. It's a special place for this city to cherish.

Very interesting to find out who were Cairns pioneers. Amazing what the life expectancy was and what people died from at the time. Stone masonary on some of the graves is fantastic. Well worth a visit only ten minutes walk from Cairns central.

The graves are in need of attention but some show an insite into Cairns history and the people that lost their lives building the area. Certainly worth a look.

I only view this cemetery from the road/car. But it looks like a lovely well kept old cemetery in the centre of Cairns.
