Well worth a visit. You could easily spend a whole day here. Easy to access if you dont have a car-number 131 bus from the centre of Cairns.

Rather small, went alone and expected more. Could have had my expectations set to high, nice, but wanted more. Can see it all very quickly. Would be better with some company to stroll and chit chat through. The mountain hike near by was pretty nice.

If you enjoy gardens this is definitely worth a visit. Hired bikes from town and rode out which was fun!

Great gardens. Don't miss the butterfly enclosure. Lovely lady in the information centre and good coffee in the cafe adjacent.

Any one who has the vaguest interest in plants, forests, unusual plants can easily spend a day or more. Kiosk / cafe with clean toilet facilities, virtually in the town area. Great place on a hot day.
