    Majestic
WOW. What an amazing location. These stunning falls about an hour south of Cairns. Easy walk up to the falls where you can enjoy a beautiful swim and slide down the rocks into the water. Nature at its best. A must do when in FNQ

    Beautiful-fun - all in one
This is one of my favourite places in the world. It is Bea and exiting. I’ve been a few time before but this time it had been raining and it was a bit more of a challenge to swim across and probably not recommended for all the rock are slippery and a lot of people do fall. There is a big rock slide which is a lot of fun for all ages. The walk to/ from isn’t too hard and parking/toilets are available(there may b a few 8 legged friends in there !

    A must see
What a magnificent place. Defintely worth stopping by. I am still yet to visit the Golden hole around the corner but I have heard that the Golden pool is no longer ok for swimming. Josephine falls is defintely safe to swim as long as it hasn't been raining upstream.

    Simply Stunning Waterfall
Breathtakingly beautiful cascading water fall that ends in rocky pools. We managed to swim and also enjoyed a natural slide into the water. Lots of climbing over slippery surfaces needed to enjoy the water, however there are viewpoints for those who can't get into the water. Stay safe and follow the signs.

    Crystal clean beauty
An absolute highlight of one of our days chasing waterfalls. Josephine Falls is crystal clear, so unbelievably clean and has a safe and bigger swimming spot at the bottom. Set yourself up on the rocks and you can stay for hours in the shade. There is a fun natural rock slide into the pool as well as a rope swing.

Beautiful scenery in an easy to get to natural attraction. Pools were good to swim on but be careful if there’s inclement weather.

Overall a nice place, very pretty and fun to slide down but BE CAREFUL because the rocks are very slippery and my dad slipped and broke a rib. ☺️

Josephine falls is great with multiple mini falls, with much to explore! Josephine falls is a short walk away from the parking area, but does not have a great deal of space to park you car.

The falls are great with lots to explore apart from the top of the falls which is blocked off due to it being very hazardous ⚠️
Follow the signs as multiple people have lost their lives here, but there are safer areas to enjoy 😊

This falls is very slippery, and is surrounded by lots of rocks, I would suggest wearing crocks for comfort.

As for bags and belongings, there isn’t really anywhere to keep your belongings so beat in mind taking a waterproof phone case to keep your valuables safe.
