This was the best cruise day trip company I have used for a few years. Everything was well organised and safety was of high priority. Seastar was a brilliant company. You were signed in and out when you went scuba diving or snorkelling. The food...More

Seastar was a great way to see the Great Barrier Reef while in Cairns. You check in with them at the marina at 7:30AM. They assign you an individual safety number for the duration of the day so you can pick the right stinger suit,...More

Hi, I was on a trip last week and witnessed a near accident with a sea turtle. We were still a bit of a distance from our first stop, but not too far, and the boat was going very very fast. The people who saw...More

Loved this snorkeling trip. They only take out small numbers of 30 or less and our day there were only 12 of us. They did a great job taking we snorkelers on guided snorkel to best areas and they are always taking pictures that are...More

My favorite part about this trip was the fact that the boat was not huge and each trip has a cap on the number of people that are taken out (36 maximum). Because of this, the crew got to know everyone quite well during our...More

I was very nervous about snorkelling the reef, especially as I was travelling on my own, so my booking agent recommended this tour with Seastar as it was a smaller group size (approx. 30 people) and the first stop was Michaelmas Sand Cay where you...More

We went on a GBR snorkeling day ( Nov 27th) with Seastar Cruises and had a wonderful day on and in the water. The cruise was handled by a real professional crew. Taking only 36 people per trip makes you feel like you have your...More

Overall, it was a great trip and the crew were very friendly, reassuring, and passionate about marine life/the reef. I enjoyed how it was a more intimate group of about 36 as opposed to other boats that had 100+. I also did a lot of...More
