On Wednesday the 10/5/2017 my partner and I were taken on a tour by Warwick. I found his tour very detailed, and very informative. We visited Lake Barrine, and the tea house there. It was beautiful. Warwick spoke about the rain forests, the food, and well everything. He is by far the best tour guide I've ever encountered. The Gallo... More

Went with Warwick for the day starting at 8. Went to places we wouldn't have stopped to on our own. Great scones at the first stop with plum and raspberry jam, a wonderful cream and still warm from the oven. Beautiful lake formed from volcanic steam and surrounding vents called the seven sisters. I really liked the stop at the... More

This was a great day out with a very knowledgeable guide in Warwick. Really pleased that they picked us up from Palm Cove as many tours won't. Best stop was the Gallo Cheese and Chocolate factory, with the most disappointing being the fruit wine stop. The Cheese and Chocolate factory was not operational on a Saturday, but we watched a... Lakesidelady66, We really appreciate that you took the time to write a review. It's unfortunate, it is too hot in this region to grow wine making grapes. Therefore, winemakers in this tropical region use what we have in abundance, tropical fruits. I will admit, they are not to everyone's taste. Most people generally find something they like, within the range... More

Paid almost AUD 400 for 2 ppl. All we got was a tour with few stops for coffee and scones, fish and chips and cheap wine. The information provided by the tour guide was not good. And he was talking more about himself than info about the different places we visited. The last stop at Jaques coffee was highly anticipated... More

I am sorry you were disappointed, as you seemed so happy through the day. In saying that, reviews do allow us to improve our service. I recall people sleeping in the bus that day, when commentary is all about the region. The other two passengers asked a lot of questions about me that day, and that is hard to stop.... More

Looking for a food and wine related outing in Cairns proved quite challenging, however, I came across this interesting tour of the Atherton Tablelands which not only met my requirements but also included some other interesting elements of the rain forests as well. We had awesome homemade scones, jam and cream served with locally grown tea at Lake Barrine. We... More

The tour was very well organized. We saw a good sampling of the Atherton tablelands and their produce. Our guide, Warwick, was very informative and he has a great sense of humour. It was a wonderful day and I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Booked at the last minute as we had no idea what we wanted to do when we got here, I have to say this has been a great decision. An early (ish) start to the day, and we discovered that there was to be only us and Warwick for the tour. Warwick was excellent, so knowledgable and with a great... More

This tour is fantastic. We were picked up on time and collected our fellow travellers. Dave was a wealth of knowledge. He told us some of the local history, pointed out landmarks, explained how the sugar industry has evolved and answered questions. On our travels we saw a dingo and a frill necked lizard. There were stops to admire the... More

Booked the tour the day before and were surprised to be only two on the car (end of season). Had a nice and talkative guide named Dave who showed us the area, some farms with tasting and answered every question. Keep in mind: at the beginning and the end of the tour you will drive through a lot of serpentines,... More
