Our Food, Wine and Rainforest Tour operates Mon, Tues, Thurs, Sat, departing at 7:30 am and returns at 5:30 pm. Explore Wet Tropics, World Heritage Rainforest while discovering what regional food and wine producers have to offer. Travel off the beaten track, onto local farms, hear the stories behind the foods and savour their flavours. The day includes Lunch, farm tours and tastings of:- - Tropical fruit wines - Cheeses - Chocolate - Local coffee - Macadamia nuts. Explore Atherton Tablelands' rainforest at Lake Barrine and the Curtain Fig Tree. An experienced driver/guide provides an informative and entertaining commentary throughout the day. This all inclusive tour includes lunch, farm tours, tastings, park fees and transfers from Cairns and the Northern Beaches.

I enjoyed this tour - I found the places we visited quite fascinating and I learned a lot. Not being a big eater or drinker, I hadn’t come along to stuff myself with food and drink. Others could if they wished - there was scones...More

Fantastic day from start to finish. Warwick the tour guide has a fountain of knowledge and a passion for the local food and wine industries. I would highly recommend this guided tour to anyone who loves food, wine and a bit of banter.

A great day. Warwick is a bundle of knowledge, not just on the places we stopped at but just driving along he would tell you about the area and places history etc. Lake Barrin was absolutely beautiful. I actually learnt a lot about rain forests...More

Save yourself the money of doing this tour and go see the Atherton in your own time and leisure. Our guide was half hour late, we had to call to see where he was, Thats cutting into our time that we paid for! On pick...More

Friendly,informative and great value for money,highly recommended.The cheese factory and macadamia plantation along with the coffee factory are not to be missed.Warwick was full of information and helpful.
