GOMA is located in an architectural wonder on the banks of South Brisbane with scenic views looking over the Brisbane River toward the CBD. The art gallery itself is a bit of a rabbit's warren with interactive displays and exhibits tucked away down corridors and...More

Love GOMA in Brisbane. Yesterday we went to the cinema to see 'Double indemnity' a film noir. It was brilliant. Then we went on a free guided tour of the highlights of the gallery. It's a wonderful way to spend a morning. The adjoining cafe...More

Visited GOMA in their 10th birthday and it was a memorable day with my young adult daughters and their Year 1 teacher. Enjoyed their animal display from South American horses to the giant fish skeleton and translucent deer.

The art gallery is welcoming and showcases different collections with different themes throughout the year. The eclectic mix of objects are expertly curated and varying exhibitions are worth visiting more than once.
