Beautiful gardens over a large area. Relaxing and cool on a hot day! Grass for picnics! Not far from Bris city. Cafe nearby. Recommend by locals.

These Parklands will have you at rest with in minutes of your arrival. Slight up hill with plenty of shade trees, native vegetation, path ways, ponds and water lizards, rest rooms and more too numerous to mention. Tourists will see the beauty of what Australia has to offer via this Brisbane attraction. A visit is a 'must do.'

Never having visited these Parklands previously, I was quite pleasantly surprised with how large the site is, for starters. To add to it, we were there for a Segway tour on a balmy summer's evening, so really enjoyed the illuminated Parklands even more. I have recently learnt that the Roma Street Parkland is the world's largest subtropical garden in a... More

A fabulous garden with lots of picnic spots and a great cafe. We printed orienteering course maps available online from orienteering QLD, got a coffee and had a fun afternoons trail blazing. A great way to see the whole park.

We find our visits are always so busy and I find that when we come into the Roma Street parklands it is always peaceful place amongst the city sights. A great place to take a stroll and burn some energy off for the kids on the grassy park

Beautiful peaceful parklands. Water dragons amazing. The train service to take you around the park is a great idea especially for the less mobile and only costs a gold coin donation

A fantastic space comprising of manicured gardens, tropical planting, open spaces, water features, small lake, outside amphitheater, family spaces for BBQ's with shaded areas. The park also hosts cultural / festival events, some free, such as the BrisAsia festival with a full afternoon of free entertainment and an open air viewing of a movie in the evening.

Found these by chance. Beautifully landscaped, with lots of nooks and water features. Fantastic sections of the parklands too, featuring various tropical plants. Great for a walk or to sit and chat.

We visited on a beautiful day that showed the Roma Street Parkland at its absolute best. If you have an interest in sub-tropical gardening, or just feel like a relaxing stroll through a beautiful place, you should try to visit this attraction.

A wonderful place for a quiet walk in beautifully manicuted gardens. A must see in Brisbane and free.
