    Beautiful peaceful gardens
Wondered around looking for colorful flowers and especially birds and it’s a great park to walk around. Mostly locals having picnic and sitting at benches or on grass. Lots of birds if you are into birds. Lots of different sections and several water features. Definitely recommend if the like gardens and bird watching

Awesome parkland, I last visited when it was railway yards so it's great to see the change. We went on the little train tour, looked at the plants, checked out the water dragons. Nice for kids but we didn't have any wish us.

    A very special park
By pure good luck our hotel was across the road. What a simply beautiful park. So varied with some great livestock. Birds are always a pleasure but the Eastern Water Dragons are something special. Just a pity we weren't there for the Christmas lights, which were being installed and looked like they would be spectacular. Reading that this must have been a flat railroad yard only 20 plus years ago, so a huge amount of work must have been necessary to develop this special place.

Don't tread on the water dragons!
I visited Roma Street Parkland on a visit to Brisbane some ten years ago. I enjoyed that visit, but I noted on this occasion that there has been significant development in the meantime. The formal flower beds have been increased in size and looked wonderful. I was particularly impressed by the rainforest area and its colony of flying foxes. I managed to avoid treading on any of the abundant eastern water dragons! This is an essential site for visitors to Brisbane to include on their itinerary.

Great gardens, even in the winter when not a lot is blooming! Must do for families and those looking to get away from huge city hustle and bustle for a couple hours.

This is another area well worth a visit when visiting Brisbane, we had a great time simply wandering about seeing the gardens. It is easy to get to with the Roma Street train station only a few yards from the gardens, it also just short walk from the city centre itself.

Beautifully presented parkland in middle of Brisbane. Easy to walk around in half an hour or to spend longer admiring the range of gardens. Good cafe on site, it was very busy the day we went. Access is good for pushchairs, wheelchairs though the gardens are laid out on different levels so some parts are sloping.

The parkland is a lovely place to visit and another quiet spot in Brisbane. There are a lovely array of differently themed gardens in the parkland. The spectacle garden was the absolute gem.

This is a stunning garden. We preferred it to the Brisbane botanical gardens. It’s Spring so there were many flowers on show. A beautifully laid out garden full of wonderful plants.
