We attended a show about the various planets and stars. Very interesting and one felt as if you were in space. Learnt a lot about planets and space--amazing photographs and pictures were seen during the show.

You could go around in 15 minutes and the planetarium show was aimed at 6-12 year olds. Very friendly staff.

Unless you are booked in for a show it isn't worth a visit. There really isn't anything to interest younger kids. There was lots to look at and read but my 8 year old lost interest very quickly. There were a few models and a...More

Skydome shows just amazing. Everyone should go. $15.00 for 45 minute show. Will go back for sure. After you finish go to Mount Coot-tha Lookout (just up the road) for a spectacular view of Brisbane.

Great, informative place, with fantastic shows. We watched 'cosmic collisions' which my young children really enjoyed. Definately book online in advance, these shows sell out!

No not at all, the shows are conducted inside. If you visit on a nice day, the gardens are lovely to have lunch and a wander through.

No, they have shows running during the daytime. We didn't see any telescopes. The shows in the planetarium are kind of like an auditorium with the screen on the ceiling, and lay back chairs

Hello! Entrance into the main gallery is free with lots of things to look at. I thoroughly encourage you to book in a show - they are very good value. I remember paying about $45 for a family ticket.
