The museum is conveniently located on the ground floor at 200 Roma Street, in the same building that houses the HQ of the Queensland Police Dept. It’s virtually across the road from the Roma Street train station and Brisbane Transit Centre. It’s free to enter...More

A reminder of the lack of diversity in the police force even so today in Brisbane. A few token Aboriginal police have been documented and photographed so they can say they are not racist and pat themselves on the back. Also a reminder of some...More

Take time to visit this museum as it is thoughtfully laid out and most Australians will know of some of the more significant cases that are highlighted. Well done to the Qld Police.

A fun quiet little museum, with well-presented stories, artefacts, and audio/video clips of Qld Police Service throughout its life from colonial to modern times. If you're lucky like us, one of the curators will be walking through and tell you a story or two.
