If you're planning for a trip in Australia, cairns is a must visit place. Located on the east coast of Australia, this place has one of the worlds beautiful coral reefs. Snorkelling, scuba diving are the popular events you get to do here. Make sure you've thoroughly studied the weather before landing there. Rough and rocky weather could screw up... More

We really enjoyed our trip to Norman Reef. We went for the day with Reef Magic II. We only snorkeled but enjoyed the visit. Went for 2 dives at Norman reef. unfortunately, it was not as good as I expected it to be, since there was a lot of white dead reef. Else it is an interesting place - many butterfly fish, angel fish. I think the other reefs are nicer. Probably the reef has turned white because of so many of us tourists... More

Ok it may not be the best dive or snorkel site on the GBR but if you only have limited time you could do worse. It does take a few hours catamaran to get to the pontoon and once there it is exactly what you would expect, pushy demanding day trippers who think they are the only ones that matter.... More
