White water rafting down the Tully River was great, we had an amazing guide and felt safe the whole time. It's a great way to see the river, such a beautiful spot! It's amazing seeing the rapids after you have rafted through them and think "wow, we went through that!"

Went down the Tully with Paul our guide and 5 mates on a bucks party. The experience was the highlight of our trip, the rapids were decent size, enough to scare you and make you work to get through the gaps. Paul was an excellent guide, very funny and informative. Most well organised and streamlined booking process and waiver form... More

The rafting is very well organised, you are picked up by coach, stop for breakfast. Then after safety briefing put into boat groups and given equipment. Then the ride over 40 plus waterfall and rapids. Our guide Jed, was informative and friendly. He gave us a ride of life time, we had to work and hang on as we crashed... More

We took the short drive (6 km) to Alligators Nest for an early morning swim. The waters were cool (maybe 20 degrees) and crystal clear, the kids really liked climbing around on the rocks in the stream. Nice, clean, well kept park area with bathrooms and public BBQ. The place filled up while we were there, and people were getting... More

After leaving Tully the good quality Gorge Road heads west across rolling fields of sugar cane and banana plantations before crossing the Tully River. From this point, the road follows the river closely and climbs above the valley to provide outstanding views of the river and surrounding mountains, thickly cloaked in dense rainforest. The river level is controlled from the... More

Racing Thunder Adventures This is a must we had the best fun ever with a great team of fun guys, well worth the early start you get collected and dropped off from your hotel and you get a good 6 hrs rafting broken up with BBQ lunch on the river bank. I laughed our whole way down - thanks Fish

Tully Gorge is rated in my top 3 most amazing places I've been to, worldwide. The views all up the river are just spectacular, every stop/swimming hole you are in awe of how beautiful this place is. The gorge is soo big you feel quite insignificant when you're swimming in the river. We just did the drive, and took our... More

You can do white water rafting here but we only went to look around, about 40km's from Tully but a pleasant drive and well worth it. If you get their around 1-30pm you can see the rafters go past from the bridge, we had a nice picnic lunch here and got some fantastic photo's and saw plenty of the bright... More

A scenic peaceful drive west of the town of Tully with its dominating sugar mill, is well worth a detour. The is well known for its white water rafting, but even if you cannot afford or haven't the energy for that, take the drive. several viewing stops and lots of little bridges. There is a spacious camping ground or even... More
