We stopped in briefly to view these giant termite mounds. I can not comment on the walk but it is worth stopping on the way in or out of Litchfield if only to see the ones at the carpark. And there is clean toilets if...More

The termite mounds were interesting to see. If you are prepared for a two hour trip it was worth seeing. You should go to other attractions while you are in the area to make it worthwhile going.

Such a fascinating place to learn about termites. Our guide who leads our 3 days Kakadu Litchfield tour provided us a lot of Information about the mounds and the termites. So interesting.

Pretty iconic and eerie to see all these mounds come up. Lots and lots of them for a few kilometers.

These mounds look like castles. Interesting to see the different types of termites and the different shapes and sizes of the mounds.

Gives you some info, but the ones on the side of the road are more impressive! Short drive in though!
