Fantastic quality and very interesting

Really fantastic way to while away some time. We had a great morning wandering around some of the street art before getting back to our hotel, hearing that lockdown was happening in 1.5 hrs and having to bail out of Darwin fast. Wish I could have seen more of Darwin and the street art, but such is life. I’ll be sure to come back.

Don’t know where to start…
first, download the street art app… then wander wander wander…

the augmented reality pieces are outstanding.
Art not listed on the app is also fantastic.

Beware of traffic! You can become too immersed in the art …and it is truly fantastic.

Giant size paintings on what would be drab high rise buildings. We found these by accident on our last day and I had to write about it. I know there are others but we didn't have time to find them. A Challenge for other readers. Does anyone know the history of these?

The diversity of artwork was fabulous. It was easy to download a map and just wander around the streets. Easy to spend a few hours meandering and finding the works in different places.

Excellent Street Art

Darwin has plenty of very good street art, Austin Lane being the main one, but there is more on buildings around town. it is free and nice to see around the streets.

Eyes up in wonder

So many surprises as you scoot around the streets. Its really
clever how they use what would have been plain concrete walls as a canvas for such detailed and vibrant works.

Walking around town one day I was happily suprised to see so much wonderful street art. We didnt get to see much from compared to what may be around the city, but it gives us something to look forward to on our return trip.

A pleasant surprise.

We were pleasantly surprised from the amount of street art in such a small (and sleepy) town.
Most of the street art is also quite beautiful and colorful.

Great colourful art works throughout the streets in the CBD. Some great works you be found. Austin st currently has a street art festival on so there is a lot of art works. Was lovely wandering around snapping photos just before sun down when breeze comes up and it's more pleasant.
