We had a lovely walk into Simpsons Gap. Some of our group climbed up to have a look at it from high. It showed the Australian outback bush at its greatest.

We visited Simpson’s gap in late December, when there aren’t as many tourists in town, and were the only ones here. We basked in the beauty of the area, and felt nature and stillness all around us. It’s really a special place here.

Like so much of the MacDonnell Ranges, this is a must see. Easy walk from the parking area and the chance to spot a few rock wallabies if you look carefully, and walk quietly. Take in that quiet and enjoy the area.

I highly recommend you visit Simpson’s gap if you’re near Alice springs, Australia. We had a lovely walk with our guide down to the gap and there was a bit of water. The rocks are magnificent and the place has wonderful energy.

One of the places that is worth to visit and drive around Alice Springs. Good road down the gap, with parking and toilet. None so much water in the waterhole at this time but was still magnificent. Rock formation was impressive. We were unlucky though...More

There are a lot of sights to see around Alice Springs and many within a short distance of town. The ''Alice'' is overlooked by the West MacDonnell Ranges and as you venture a bit out of town, these ranges offer some beautiful scenic spots where...More
