Just a simple memorial. Not a lot to see but is easy to find on the main highway, Wouldnt't go out of my way to find it.

Situated near the Royal Flying Doctor Service visitor centre it is hard to miss. Quite an imposing statue and not that old, it would appear to reflect the character of Stuart but you need to know the story behind him in his efforts to cross...More

Stuart's statue is a few yards away from this memorial in the same square and gives a good impression of how the early explorers looked.

It´s a central park, the city council keep this area green thanks god. It´s a landmark to conmmemorate and remember the founder of this small town. Don´t miss the salvation army aboriginal painting sale just in the front.

Near the hospital have a look at this if only to think about what it must have been like for this explorer when he came through this area. Not exactly a memorable memorial.
