I think a few of the earlier posts are actually referring to the goal at the Pioneers Women's Hall of Fame. This little Goal is only a block away from Todd Mall, beside the Courthouse (appropriate?) and across from the Police Station in Parsons Street....More

very interesting attraction that deserves to open all the time. you need to visit tues-thurs 1030-12pm.

We were informed that the key to the gaol could be obtained from the Hartley Street School but despite three attempts the school was never open at the times displayed on the boards. This needs to be attended to if the local tourism industry want...More

Good mural at the entry yard, but sad reminders of why for years there was a need for iron-fisted control and the method involved. Free when open, it was used for the inspired Pentatonic five-venue concert held during the Desart Festival this year.

This gets 5 stars because you have to get the key from Hartley School and then with a $20 deposit and $2 upfront cost, they trust you to open up the jail and look at it yourself then lock it back up and bring back...More

Again, not open weekends. A key is needed from the old school rooms which is also not open on weekends. So sad that I missed these attractions

Unfortunately did not have enough time to look inside. But from the outside it looks well maintained. What enhanced it for me was the mural near it of police today getting out of their cars
