Kids will love this place

Went there with whole family and we loved it. It's great part of Alice history, well preserved and people working there are so enthusiastic that you really forget yourself there

Only because we think planes are cool we decided to drop in for a visit. We all enjoyed it and learned a thing or two. While there we walked next door to the cemetary where there are a few famous Australians laid to rest. Lassiter and Namatjira

Another Aviation Museum and another great visit for us. The Central Australia Aviation Museum in Alice Springs was a stop we had to make since our older brother has to check out all of these places so we did and we all enjoyed it very much. Neat that they have a movie playing in a mock-up plane and learning about... More

Distances of this magnitude were defeated by these craft and the pilots of the decades past - over 70 years of aviation history in one location, just behind Araluen and the Strehlow Museum

Our second visit to this museum which is housed in the original hangars of the first Alice Springs town airfield. It showcases the integral role aviation has played in the outback. It is maintained and run by volunteers and admission is free, but worth a generous donation. I was intrigued by the history revealed in its exhibits and the aviators... More
