On the edge of the CBD. A great collection of lizards and snakes and the presentation by one of the keepers was entertaining and informative. For those that like the idea, you can get up close and personal with an olive python.

The display is a thorough exhibit of the reptiles present in the region. At the end they allow to hold some of the most significant ones. Very interesting

An educational look at animals in the outback, identifying them and how to deal with them should you come across them in your travels.

Lovely clean displays, unfortunately outside animals put away before doors closed , and with tourists still paying and arriving, such a shame. missed on seeing more reptiles, perhaps close doors earlier or put away after doors close.More

Although this is a type of zoo, all the inmates seemed happy, even the Saltwater crocodile, Terry. It was a marvellous opportunity to identify all the little reptiles that inhabit this wide brown land. So many snakes! Learn the difference between poisonous and venomous.

The Reptile Center was an interesting stop. There are a variety of poisonous reptiles - snakes, lizards, etc. live and on display in their habitat. The Fierce snake and the Eastern Brown snake are considered to be the most venomous snakes in the world. There...More
