This was the best thing we did in Alice Springs. Brolga is perhaps the most dedicated person to a particular cause that I've ever met. The Sanctuary is all about saving baby kangaroos and returning them to the wild if possible. This is a must...More

Such a caring person who obviously loves what he does. Very informative and just a lovely experience and way to spend an evening among the 'roos. Would go again next time I am in Alice.

One of the most exciting adventures of our trip to Australia. This gentleman is an extraordinary person in so many ways. Being able to hold a joey was wonderful. Watching the young kangaroos interact was amazing. Walking through the preserve and seeing these animals in...More

This sanctuary is doing God's work saving baby kangaroos who's mothers have been killed via vehicle crashes or other circumstances. This facility raises them, in hopes to put them back into the wild, BUT some need more human care so he keeps them happy and...More

Walk amongst tamed rescued kangaroos. Learn about the history of the rescue and hold months old joeys as they nuzzle you in homemade pouches. Easy walking and amazing knowledge is shared by the man also known as Kangaroo Dundee. Well worth the trip.

The sanctuary is set up to provide a life for motherless kangaroos/roos (thank you Winnie the Pooh). These have usually been rescued from road kill where the mother has been killed but the Joey is still alive in the pouch. The sunset tour, as long...More

What an amazing experience! Brolga (Chris Barns) does the sunset tour himself and is a mind of knowledge and experience regarding Roos. The tour gives the opportunity to hold a baby roo in his or her pillowcase and bottle feed another youngster. It was great...More

Hi Brolga, My husband and I will be in Alice Springs from Friday 18th August to Wednesday 23rd, and we are hoping we can do your tour on the evening of the 18th. Will you be taking bookings for that evening, and if so, are there specific pick up points? I loved the TV series about your work, and am looking forward to the tour if we can do it. Regards, Chris Whitesman
