We loved visiting the botanic gardens. There is a good variety of different plants and flowers. There is a free zoo and aviary there too and we spent a good hour looking at the native and some introduced animals and birds. If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to visit it's worth a stop.

We had a nice time here especially visiting the zoo. A great hang out to relax and also see many native animals.

We checked out the WaggaWagga Botanic Garden in December near the end of our drive around Australia. It is a fairly decent gardens, well set up but no signage and not impeccable like some we have seen along the way so far. The small zoo is great and we enjoyed that immensely and we would have loved to have been... More

Whilst Visiting Wagga Wagga our Families decided to meet in the Botanic Gardens. The Gardens are just beautiful well maintained and plenty of room for children to run free and play in the huge playgrounds even a flying fox and a separate area for toddlers where they can play to their hearts content without parents having to worry about them... We could see where the gardens where on the map, but had a real job finding them. There are no signs. "We keep asking the Council for signs, but they don't do anything!!" is the comment we got.I suggest you get a map from the visitors centre before setting off here. The zoo would be good for kids, but again... More

Rained when we reached Wagga Wagga. Could not visit the Botanic Gardens then but made another trip the next day. Amazing place to visit. Lots of interesting animals to see such as wombat, emus, alpacas, donkeys, kangaroos etc. Lots of colourful finches and peacocks too. Had a Chinese garden which was near the mini zoo. A must visit place when... More
