You would expect to experience a luxurious cruise on New Year’s Eve for paying the amount of $780 but it was totally not worth it at all. I don’t mind queuing to get on the ship but it was unbelievably overcrowded! There were literally no...More
The Starship is amazing, 3 spacious levels each with the ability to have uninterrupted views of the harbour. The food was fresh and upmarket, plenty to feed the very large group of NYE revellers. The organisation of on boarding was seamless, the bar staff and...More
I think I can safely say that ANYONE that paid $780/ticket for this event would have expected something a little more high calibre and this is how it seemed when first embarking. Yes, the queue was long, but it moved quickly and waiters were there...More
Total waste of money. My recommendation DO NOT GO. They fill it with a lot of people, long and long lines to eat a small portion of food, the music down is a band, that plays 1950's music for 20 elderly people who danced. Upstairs,...More
Two words - just don't!
My family and I paid a substantial amount of money to get away from the New years eve crowd but turned out that this wasnt possible. The boat was over crowded. Not enough seats and several people ended up standing...More
Greek food (grills, dips & bread etc) served as we enjoyed the cruise. Lower level was spacious with fresh white seating. Good food & service & recommended for a business event enjoying Sydney Harbour.
We hired the Starship for a business conference. Everything was amazing, the service by staff, drink service and the quality of the food was hard to believe, it was exceptional. Absolutely recommend if you are looking for a quality organisation for a corporate function on...More
We joined the Sydney Starship on Saturday evening for a Vivid Cruise. A great way to see the lights of Sydney. Sure, you don't get to see everything up close and personal but no crowds either plus the added bonus of sailing on Sydney's beautiful...More
Great tasting burgers for lunch, a worth while visit. Fresh natural great size burgers with hot chips all for $9.90. A relaxing friendly atmosphere highly recommend whether with family, friends, or on your own.
Take the ferry to the inner west suburb of Balmain and be enchanted with this picturesque and eclectic waterside area. A stroll down Darling Street will take you on a tour of coffee shops, boutique delicatessens and shops offering wholefood products and organic cuisines. Yoga studios abound, and live music emanates from the hotels at night. As the place where the Australian Labor Party formed in 1891, Balmain has
commonly been known for its “working class culture”. It has evolved into a health-conscious heaven with a laid back attitude, offering one of the most vibrant food and bar scenes in Sydney.

Sorry my response is probably a little late but we were parked alongside the Starship and it was boarding about 300 guests. The Pontoon had about 90 guests but I believe has s maximum number of around 100. We were pleased to be on the boat with less guests. We also enjoyed being able to go up on deck to be able to get a better view although the floor to ceiling glass in the dining area also gave the opportunity to get spectacular views. We were there during Vivid.
