We did the section from the Spit to Manly (and back again, about 20km). The path is generally good, some stairs and steps but not too much climb and descent. Great harbour views and part through bushland with views towards the heads. There are some...More

Taronga Zoo seemed to be a must while in Sydney being just a ferry ride away. We were really just trying to hold a koala while in Australia. The zoo is huge and offers all sorts of animals. But to meet a koala you have...More

I love my personal encounter with the Koala Bear and the Owl. I also saw them in pictures and movies. I was fortunate to be up close to them. Amazing Animal Encounters. Thank you for a memorable experience.

We spent a whole day at the zoo and absolutely loved it - too much to see - we ran out of time - must definitely go back next time in Sydney

Taronga zoo is on the edge of an island in Sydney harbour . Well spaced out, lots of animals and birds to see. The unique creatures of Australia are there , though echidna and platypus can be elusive . Quite hilly, it could be taxing...More

It's a great place but seemed a bit confusing in the start but then you have to really walk n walk n walk to see the zoo throughly. The reason I went there was the Kangaroos and Koalas. Zoos are really a sad place as...More

Taronga zoo is family fun. You can spend entertaining 3 to 4 hours watching a lot of different animals. Enclosures are very nice and animals were pretty active. In addition you have a great view on Sydney Opera and Harbour Bridge. Another highlight was the...More

Most the ferries route for both Taronga Zoo and Manly Beach only leave from Circular Quay so you would have to go via CQ for the trip. Connecting journey are not yet available during my last visit last Sept 2017.
