Not at all as advertised, no commentary as advertised and boat did not go to the places advertised, in particular, Manly Island. Management was aware of this in advance but did not tell us about it, even though we specifically asked if we would be...More

I relied on the ecohopper online timetable but it didn’t turn up at the Q station. Had to wait 45 minutes. The sign says to wave to ferry down which I did twice but it just skipped it. Be wary.

We arrived at 9:10am to catch a 9:25 ferry to the zoo. We purchased tickets online, and we went to the desk to get printed tickets. There was much confusion over which boat to board. Two different companies are using the same wharf. The other...More

We bought the ecohopper and Taronga Zoo entry ticket. The staff were helpful and friendly and the boats were a great way to see the harbour. The boats aren't as frequent as the ferry, but it wasn't too long a wait.

There is a VERY GOOD chance of missing your boat, because there are SO MANY companies offering the Eco Hopper, and so you need to be very careful of which company you had brought ferry tickets from. The timing timetable is also confusing to understand...More

I'd put more blame on the incompetence of the woman who sold us the ticket than on the Ferry service because her explanation was very misleading, but communication on the ferry service was also appalling. The ferry service is very limited, especially during the week...More
