Small Bars Tour

Amazing to find such bars tucked away. The history of the area was interesting and really nice chatting with others in the group in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend

Excellent tour! An in depth tour of the Rocks in the Sydney CBD. Our guide, Louise, was very knowledgeable and professional and she truly enjoyed her job! Our group of 3 greatly appreciated the enthusiasm and kindness! Oh, and you get one rum and one beer...even better!

We did the Cross tour with Lucy... fantastic! My wife and I are both from Sydney but we learnt so much along the tour. Well worth it no matter where you're from in the world!

Last week I did the "Forbidden Sydney" tour that details the history of gay and lesbian Sydney. Over 2 hours our guide Kimball walked us from the city centre to Taylors Square telling the stories of various locals who had played a part in shaping the gay and lesbian community we have today. The characters were interesting, and Kimball is... More

It was a wonderful weather and meeting great people in the tour. Our guide, Pete, is such a great story teller, I've totally enjoyed the stories. A tour not to miss if you are like me who loves seeing all the hidden sites in a bustling city.

Great tour for just two of us - Louise was fun and informative, we would never have found many of the places she showed us on our own, and 2 drinks were included (rum and beer). We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and went back to spend more time in the Rocks the next day.

Having done 2 previous Two Feet & A Heartbeat tours in Perth we were excited about a Sydney opportunity. Sadly we were disappointed. Two 'TF&AHB trainees', 4 Adelaide ladies, the two of us (from Perth) and Peter, our guide, set off on a Small Bar tour on 3 September. A drink provided at the first bar, a shared nibbles plate... We are frequent visitors to Sydney but this trip we thought we would throw in a walking tour with a difference. We met Kimbal (sorry if that's the wrong spelling) under the in/famous coke sign and it all began. We were the only two on the tour so had a private and exceptional tour of all the dark stories of... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
