The bookshop was where I would be happy to spend a whole day there. It was spacious and the interior design would encourage reading. There were a large variety of books in English, Japanese and Chinese; there were also a lot of magazines as well....More

I stopped going to the store after the invasive bag check. They take the bags from you and dig through the staff you have inside. I don't think this is legal.

Normally I would pick independent bookshop over the chain one, but this one is an exception. It is a spacious bookshop with wide range in terms of different genres but also different languages. It has a small section for stationary which are all really cute....More

I went to pop-in Kinokuniya book store for a peak and was in there for almost two hours. I said I would just look and not get anything, but I did. I'm not made of stone.

I visited Kinokuniya several times during my stay in Sydney in July 2017. It is a fantastic bookstore - the largest in Australia. I walked around the travel, history, business and other sections.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
