“An okay pub.”
Bringing the Surry Hills El Loco’s Mexican fiesta vibe to the city, El Loco at Slip Inn is great for a cheeky lunch break and the perfect spot for after-work drinks. We’re lively, loud and proud of it. We speak fluent tequila and we’re famous for...more

Was brought to this restaurant by Aussie friends as it was here our Crown Prince met his Crown Princess to be! It is a fun place with Mexican food. Service was friendly and efficient, food tasty and plentiful! Recommended!

Second time I’ve been there and wasn’t disappointed. The burgers are sensational. I had the single cheese and it was great my colleague had the same and the other one had the chicken. Staff were fast and friendly, sure the place (beer garden) could do...More

Drinks are so expensive at this joint, staff had no funky uniform and you couldn't differentiate staff from patrons. The decor needs an uplifting vibrancy and the music could be much more enjoyable. The menu was not appealing and the servings were so small for...More

I specifically visited this pub as the former Royal George Hotel to see where the Sydney Push met. However, the bar staff had not heard of Germain Greer or Clive James, let alone Robyn Davidson or The Push! Ho hum! An okay place for an...More

The place is probably better as a bar than as a place to eat. Their salad was very good, but the burgers were not that great at all and not recommendable. The atmosphere is very good though and the service is good.

Beer served in plastic glasses yet no sign of a pool?? Attitude varied dramatically between the staff, from good to very poor. Bar snacks quite good but overpriced. A pretty 'low rent' pub to be brutal.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
