True story. Good acting. Elle McPherson sacked her Assistant Mary Ellen Field accusing her of phone hacking/alcoholic. Proved it was not so. Elle do not apologise. Mary Ellen donated her kidney to Mark Colvin an ABC respected journalist. Acted out well.

I saw this play yesterday and it is excellent. Helen Thompson, Sarah Peirse and John Howard with three other actors play various roles brilliantly and a bit of video adds to the production. Besides featuring kidney failure etc it also encompasses the News of the...More

Just get there. You simply have to see Belvoir's newest play "Mark Colvin's Kidney". The acting is brilliant, the script is fabulous and the set is ingenious. It's also an up-to-the-minute comment on the Murdock phone hacking scandal. Seriously this play is not to be...More

This theatre consistently engages Oz's most prominent playwrights, directors actors and designers. Looking towards participating ringside for Prize Fighter for a rare theatrical combo of storytelling...More

Leah Purcell has re-imagined and varied Henry Lawson's tale "The Drover's Wife" and stars in this production. The acting (5 actors in all) is excellent, the storyline very convincing and in parts, confronting. If you enjoy live theatre, don't miss this rivetting production.

We enjoy our local theaters at home in Atlanta and were very impressed with the quality of the performances in the Drover's Wife. As for the general theater experience: getting to the theater by train (Central Station) was very easy and we felt safe in...More

Call me spoilt, but I love Belvoir Street because it's like having the actors play just for you when you go to a play because its such an intimate theatre. Shakespeare's Twelfth Night (Or what you will) was our play this time - the actors...More
