Disgruntled security guard didn't like my hat, proceeded to yell at my friends and I. Even after I removed the hat.

Not a bad spot to enjoy some great pub grub. You may have to run the gauntlet of smokers outside if you come in by the Market St entrance. Good service, good food, and reasonable prices

Visited with work colleagues on a Monday night. Nice relaxed atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor areas. Drink service was quick and wine was reasonably reproved. I had the ocean trout entree which was delicious. Will visit again.

Decent non-smoking outdoor area, and also has some cool beers on tap. Did embarrass myself here once, but all is good. Didn't mind the pub at all.

Nice bar in CBD for a quick drink. It was quiet on a Tuesday after work. Good service. Lovely decorations.

Six of us decided at the last minute to try the Shellbourne. Plenty of seating and good atmosphere. Menu options were basic but the food came out quick, was really tasty and didn't hurt like other CBD prices.

Went for drinks with some friends and rudely told by staff there's a twenty dollars minimum in paying for drinks (which means you need to order five or so house drinks at a time). Ridiculous policy in 2017, to be told to leave your drinks...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
