I believe this is the same restaurant/bar as the address is the same, but Trip Advisory’s menu does not reflect the menu we had with the addition of pizza and burgers. We were a bit reluctant to try an emu and kangaroo pizza, but we...More
We stayed nearby and decided to book our early dinner here. Turned out it was relatively quiet on the weekday.
Lovely large interior in a heritage building. The service and food were decent. Good portions and nice Belgium beer.
First tried Heritage bar around 5 years ago and when my best mate came from overseas and asking for a good quiet place not the usual stuff in sydney i took him here.

This place has an amazing selection of Belgian beers and a feature mussels prepared as well and tasty as anywhere in France or Belgium.
If you can go on Wednesday they may have a special where the mussels are discounted 25%, A real deal!!
Had dinner with five friends, muscles (in French sauce) were by far the standout meal, everything else was very mediocre. An excellent variety in beers!

The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The
weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
