Beautiful beach - patrolled, protected and lots of different seating/sunbaking areas. There is a kiosk in the clubhouse, and a restaurant overlooking the beach. The water seemed to always be beautiful and crystal clear. If you don't want to go in the surf, there are a choice of 2 ocean pools very close by. There is a protected sitting area... More

We took a train to Cronulla and just walked across from the train station to the beach nearby. It probably took about 10 mins from the station to the beach. The beach is quite beautiful and you find many families lying on the grass or sitting on the benches relaxing. This beach is appealing to families and is a good... More

We took the train from Sydney to Cronulla Beach for the afternoon. We had never been here before and found it somewhat similiar to Manly Beach. It was great to see all the surfers trying to catch a wave or two. We had drinks at Zimzala on the beach!

We decided to drive out to here for the day and although the weather turned bad and we had a very heavy downpour, it's a lively place to go. With a big clean beach and plenty of space to spread out. We found a great little coffee shop to both shelter and have a great coffee. Would like to go... More

I've lived in Cronulla for almost one year and in my opinion, this is the best beach in Sydney. It's 30km away from the CBD, easy access by train Good waves, with different styles, like beach break and point break (Cronulla point and Shark island). Also, there are many restaurants close to the beach, It's a good place to spend... More

Spend 2 weeks with my son in an Airbnb apartment. Did not want to be too close to the city. The Beach is fantastic with a long coastal walk great for jogging. 10 minutes walk to the train station really cheap tickets into the heart of Sydney but it does take about an hour. fantastic Suburb to stay in and... An amazing beach in Sydney! May be the only beach in Sydney, you can reach by train. The beach provides stunning views and is surprisingly less crowded compared to others. The Cronulla CBD is in close proximity where you can find varieties of place to eat. Overall a very good place for a day out.
