Lovely walk, a bit hilly so if you are challenged with walking up and down, you might want to reconsider but otherwise, it has lovely views, sunsets are amazing, this walk encompasses a variety of views, from coastal to inland bridges which span the bay and surrounding village. We swam in the bay then saw dolphins just outside the shark... More

This is a lovely walk. We took the ferry over to Rose bay from Circular Quay and then followed the foreshore path to Nielsen Park. Its one of the more iconic Sydney walks but its not overly busy, unlike the Bondi to Coogee walk for example. The beach at Nielsen Park is one of the best on harbour side and... More

The walk starts at the Bayview Hill Road and continues to Nielsen Park. At a leisurely pace, the walk takes around 90 minutes. Expect moderate difficulty with steps at many locations. Spectacular ocean and Harbour views. On reaching Nielsen Park, public transport, by bus, back to the city , is possible after a 10-15 minute walk, along Coolong Road.

The walk is approached from a residential street and skirts the foreshore of Vaucluse. The scenery is spectacular taking in the Vistas of Rose Bay to the City including the Harbour bridge. The path is not even but it is not difficult to navigate. There is some minor up and down stairs. The biggest obstacle one may confront along the... More

Hubby & I had a lovely relaxing day exploring this walk. We drove to Nielson Park, caught a bus back to Rose Bay. Enjoyed a coffee and snack before starting the walk. Well sign-posted and the new board walk sections are tremendous. Lots of little beaches to stop at and swim in along the way. Lots of photographic spots to... More

The walk winds its way along to Vaucluse to Rose Bay coastline past some jaw dropping houses and private (from the hordes not private in the sense... More
