The North Sydney Olympic Pool is currently having a major refurbishment and will open again in the future. Currently surrounded by placarding and scaffolding, the future images are quite fancy.

Easy to catch train there , then it’s a downhill walk to the pool , good price for family swim , the view of the habour bridge while your swimming is breath taking ! Shared the family change rooms , caught the ferry back to circular quay stop ! Great family day out !

Great for a splash or if laps are what you are about then ....Perfect!
Salt water helps you float however no Olympic Records can be broken here.
Enjoy your swim.

What a great view whilst you are swimming!! We had been recommended to visit this place by a friend and we went on the hottest day of our trip, after a walk over the harbour bridge we were definitely ready to cool off in the pool.
The pool was great and there were several lifeguards on duty.
I understand that the pool has historical significance with the Olympics etc but I'm sure that no one would mind if the changing rooms were updated and lost some of their history. I have seen nothing like it, one change room per gender, pay extra for a shower, pay extra for a locker, no private cubicles. This let the whole experience down for me.

Spent a great afternoon at the pool. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax by the pool when resting from swimming. Water is salty but clean and plenty of lanes to swim in. Cafe has a great variety of food and drinks and nice sun deck area up top.

Jumping in the pool was a surprise - I was not prepared for the salty water! It was quite nice though, as you could not distinguish the chlorine quite as much as in a regular pool. Only swam in the outdoor pool, so not sure what the indoor pool was like (and did not go to sauna/spa either; but apparently the sauna is a dry sauna so I didn't bother!). The lanes were not busy at 4pm, even though one lane was booked for the swim team. Warm showers required a coin from the reception (2 floors up!), so finally I mustered a proper cold shower :). If you like sunbathing, it has a nice area for it.

A wonderful location on the Sydney harbour to keep cool, wander the foreshore and walk through Luna park. I love my city!

Beautiful to look at and great spot. Don’t bother going if you have kids though. We went today and the whole children’s pool was filled with lessons as was much of the 50m pool. There was one lane labelled ‘recreational’, so we got in there - my son had literally jumped in once and we were asked to get out because there was going to be a lesson. We were told there was space in the 25m pool upstairs, which involved a long walk and trip up in the lift with a cold wet toddler, 7 month old baby and buggy, only to find that the ‘space’ available in there was barely even wide enough to jump in. The man who I complained to assured me there was a sign at the entrance about availability of pool space, but I couldn’t find it on my way out. I won’t be going back.

Indoor 25m or 50m outside down the steps. Sadly I didn’t find the outside pool until after I had swum my fill in the 25m pool. Good facility with hot showers as a 50c extra to the $8 entry fee

What an evening! Swimming in the legendary pool where so many great swimmers trained and completed. They have a hall of memories and information to read, the change rooms are just as they have always been and for one of the best views whilst swimming, the Harbour Bridge and Lunar Park lit up as the sun at with awesome colours!
