Ignore the incorrect address - it's nowhere near The Rocks. It's in McMahon's Point, overlooking Balls Head Bay, though you can see the Harbour Bridge & Opera House from the southern tip. It's usually deserted except on hot weekends, and apart from the dog walkers (Mad Dogs & Englishmen, etc.) Good spot for a picnic or watching sunset - it... More

Located in the middle of a tight suburban city town. The entry to the saw mill begins with an enchanted native bush entry to the reserve. It's approx 10-15 min walk from McMahon's point ferry.. By turning right into the 1st street off blues point rd, being a closed off rd. You will find a clear wooden sign marking its... More

Lovely relaxed area. Lots of open space right on the water, easy to access and never really busy. Grab a picnic/pizza/bottle of wine and hang out looking over the harbour.

Hidden from view, this little park is a pleasure to while away some time, good photo opportunities and not overcrowded it looks across the harbour from McMahon's Point towards Balmain. Nice for a stroll, a picnic or just to while away some time in a pleasant surrounding.

A little known treasure. Great place for a picnic, a book read, a place to meet a friend or simply a great place to look at the most beautiful harbor in the world.

My favourite park. Not many people know about Sawmillers, just us locals. It is a great spot for a picnic, game of cricket or footy with the kids etc. It is also a quiet oasis in the melting pot that is Sydney. I go there to smell the eucalypts and listen to the birds. Often get a kookaburra or two... More

Very lovely park. Dog friendly. Good location. Art show was very good - it was good to see the park being used in this way.
