Every week day that we passed through the park, there was a hive of activity going on. People were there playing touch footy, throwing frisbee's, having lunch, running, it was always vibrant and humming along. The park itself is lovely and well maintained. I still...More

Large open space between Hyde Park and the Royal Botanical Gardens. A few areas of interest including a theatre but mainly where people go to run and play sport.

The gardens are not as good as the Botanical Gardens but a nice stretch of green at the city edge and a good place to walk with harbour views.

Very much enjoyed my visit to this Park, following a visit to the National Gallery of New South Wales. A rolling green oasis with views of the city skyline. At dusk so many birds congregate here - the kookaburra quite resplendent. Quite a few statues...More

We enjoyed a walk across the Domain on our way to the Art Gallery of NSW. They were setting up for a festival so some of it was blocked off.

This park is the site where Mrs. Macquarie's Chair is located; the chair was carved into rock by convicts so she could sit and look at ships arriving from her homeland of England. There are lovely views of Sydney Harbor. It is a restful location.

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
