Do not miss the Botanical Garden in Sydney which also connects via a walk to the Opera House. The gardens are incredible.

A quiet stroll with stunning views. We walked around the opera house and through the gardens on a drizzly cool morning. The weather served to keep the crowds away and we were ably to enjoy the peace in a beautiful tranquil space.

Starting at the opera house, this flat paved path offers beautiful views, well maintained gardens and takes you back to Hyde Park. And yes, the Botanic Garden doesn’t charge an entry fee.

If you go on the Opera house web site it will give you all the shows that are currently on. If you are staying in a hotel the reception or concierge will be able to help you.

April in Sydney is Autumn : it's warm but not as hot as in the summer months. Very nice for walking about. Expect daytime temperatures around 20°C (68°F) cooling down at night to 15°C (58°F) .
