Worthwhile walk to see the Opera House from different angles. Nice gardens and views of the harbour as well. Can add in a visit to the art gallery of NSW for a longer walk.

This is a must do walk. The vantage point from Mrs Macquarie's chair is not to be missed. What a delight to have so much access to such a beautiful harbour.

I had my Fit Bit on and my goodness, we covered a lot of kms doing this walk. It wasn't just for fitness but to discover what was along the way. Very pleasant and free.

It worth making time to explore this walk, just the botanic gardens alone are amazing, combined with the teasing views of the bridge & opera house, make it a relaxed & pleasant walk, just to enjoy, and get away from the bustling forecourt of the...More

this is a nice, scenic and gentle walk. Lots of joggers. We did it every day that we were in Sydney. Beats sitting in a cab.

Dynamite picturesque walk. With brilliant vistas of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Many, many botanical treasures are in the offing for those who dare to explore.

If you go on the Opera house web site it will give you all the shows that are currently on. If you are staying in a hotel the reception or concierge will be able to help you.

You should be able to do all that in the morning. There are tours of the opera house you might not have time for if you want to wander around the gardens longer - but they are all right in the same place, so if you have an... More

April in Sydney is Autumn : it's warm but not as hot as in the summer months. Very nice for walking about. Expect daytime temperatures around 20°C (68°F) cooling down at night to 15°C (58°F) .
