I can see it is right outside Hyde Park Plaza. Nothing much to see now as its closed for renovation. In the park there is a pool and fountain, 5 huge bullets and a big World War II cannon. Its a nice place to exercise,...More

Good way of remembering and honouring all the people fighting in order to help the world to be a little bit of a better place (I hope). Though the war memorial in Canberra is completely overpowering anything else, this memorial site in Sydney is quite...More

Even though it is undergoing restoration and extension work it is still worth a visit. It is very moving and the central sculpture is an absolutely stunning piece of art. Beautifully built and engineered building.

Went to the memorial just as the 11:00 daily service & 2 minute silence commenced .. few people there but all respectful. The area around is being renovated but it's accessible and there's plenty of good information panels explaining what you see.

If you are patriotic , go in to check it out. If you are not into it , a nice photo of the memorial taken across the water will be very nice.

A peaceful memorial. A retired serviceman came over and we had a lovely talk and he explained many features.

Our family visited Sydney and our hotel was right across the street from this memorial. Two of our kids and I stopped in for a peak early one Sunday morning. This is a simple but moving tribute to the men and women who have died...More

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise

shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
