We had a Sydney Harbour Top Deck lunch cruise last Friday on a luxurious motor yacht. We booked a window seat and a 3 course meal. The Sydney weather was hot and very humid but the boat was cool and the staff very welcoming. The table service was exceptional. We ordered drinks from an extensive menu and then ordered our... Happy with the experience, service was on time and the staff were very friendly. Easy to find and plenty of times to hop on and off. We used this to go to Taronga Zoo from Circular Quay.

Sailing and dinner what a perfect combination. The boat was in great condition. Boarding went smoothly. 3 course meal: entre(appetizer), main, and a dessert. Wine is served with dinner. The Sydney opera house is beautiful lit up. It was harder to take pictures if the bridge as it is so close. Wait staff was excellent. The live entertainment had everyone... More

We got a 24hr hop on hop off pass with a Taronga Zoo pass. We did this day two of our 5 day stay in Sydney so we could then go back to places if we wanted later in the holiday. The commentary was so good, thank you! And we had 5 (or 7, can't remember) days to use the... More

A cool way to sightsee Sydney in summer sailing the harbour on our 3 course sit down long lunch. We were celebrating a friends 60th and I asked the staff if they'd sing HB to her and they did with a sparkler in her dessert. The staff were very attentive and as we had the drinks package we were pleased... More

We went on a lunch cruise as part of an upgrade from the Grey Line Sydney morning tour. We didn't especially enjoy the trip. The weather was nice but the windows were dirty and we couldn't get any decent pictures with our cameras. For a reason not clarified the top deck was closed so we were stuck inside despite the... The New Years Eve cruise on the John Cadman 3 was very enjoyable on the deck outside. However there were a few issues that marred the experience. The dining area was extremely uncomfortable hot. No Airconditioning. This made the sitting at the dining table very unpleasant. For a long 5 hour plus cruise, the dinner was rather rushed and all... More

This experience was absolutely magical from the moment we boarded the MV Sydney 2000. We paid extra for guaranteed window seats and we honestly believe we had one of the best views to be had of this iconic firework display. We were also two steps away from access to the open deck for fabulous photograph opportunities as we cruised around... More

Highly recommended cruise activities in Sydney. Since we planned to visit the Taronga Zoo, I bought the Cruise + Zoo Tickets package online in advance. As we stayed in Hyatt Regency Sydney, Pier 26 in Darling Harbour was the perfect docking point to us location-wise. We booked the 11:45 ferry and arrived the harbour at 11:40. The office is easy... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
