I'm a local and loved this as much as my friends from overseas did. We had a picture perfect day and an excellent guide. This is an extremely professional and well run attraction. Our ages ranged from 11 to 83 and we all managed the climb without any problem at all. This is a must do whether you live here... More

I have lived in Sydney for 17 years and always meant to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, but like most locals I put it off as it was always going to be there. That was until my husbands cousin and her daughter were coming from Germany and climbing the Bridge was their bucket list. I'm so glad I did it.... More

Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge is so much fun! You can learn a little of the history of the bridge and get absolutely gorgeous views while you're doing it.

It was a nice day, not too windy, the view was fantastic and the guide very good. I live in Sydney, but had a friend from overseas with me and he could answer any question she had about the bridge, the build and what we were seeing. I absolutely recommend it although it is getting quite pricey.

If you are visiting Sydney or in fact you live here this is an experience you should make the effort to do. If you have a fear of heights (I do) it is not a real problem, you feel very secure. You are secured to a railing that ensures your feel very safe and I can assure you the spectacular... More

We often don't do things in our own city, the Bridge Climb is something everyone should do, locals and tourists alike. Not for the faint hearted but try to overcome any fear and you won't regret it!

Loved this. A little $ but well worth it. Very safe and it wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. One of the best views in the world!

Bought this for our Dad's 60th and did it together. A fabulous experience, we had a small group of 6 which was awesome. Our guide Lexi was really friendly and very knowledgeable. The view was incredible and there were lots of stops to take it all in from different spots on the bridge. Felt safe the whole time. Pricey but... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
