First time to Coogee Beach and totally enjoyed it! Nice breezy weekday afternoon with not much crowd. Giles Baths was a great spot out on Dolphins Point. It is a rock pool... wish I had brought my swimmers! Good photo spot with the nice rock...More

Taking the bus to Coogi beach, you can start the beach walk from here all the way to Boni. The beach itself is as good as the others with nice sand and safe swimming.

It’s definitely my favorite beach in Sydney. It’s less hectic and more local than bondi beach. There is a small pool which was built in 1947 where you can chill and swim(similar to the one in Bronte beach). Gordon bay is also in 10 mins...More

Enjoyed a great light lunch at a busy restaurant on the Sydney end of Coogee then walked the beach before heading up the hill to a family member home. Beach was like Bondi but nowhere near as busy.

It was a nice sunny morning and quite warm. There were a few people about, walking and some swimming. There is plenty of beach to lounge on. Surrounding the beach are some swimming baths, quite a few eateries and some hotels. I think this is...More

We visited all of the beaches in Sydney and all are worthwhile. Coogee and Balmoral were standouts but Coogee completely stole my heart for the exquisite lifestyle and houses perched along the shore. I almost didn't want to visit "yet another beach" in Sydney but...More

If you're after a family friendly beach where you feel comfortable in your bathers (unlike some beaches nearby), then this is the place for you. My kids love this place.

An underrated beach that attracts a wide range of locals, back packers and day trippers. A relaxing beach and some great surf breaks.

The beach itself is as big as some of our Sydney beaches which s sometimes nicer. A little protected & very clear beautiful water. Sand is a little different in colour and texture here & causes a slight change in water colour. There is a...More

It's like the Oyster card in London, a card that you can top up with money and use on the public transport. Can be topped up at newsagents and stations.
