Perfect place for a sunny day - doesn't matter if it's winter or summer. Lots of restaurants, cafes, nice place to have a walk or just lie down and chill. I'm coming back there from time to time.

Pretty nice beach. We visited in winter so no swimming but lots of beach volleyball. It doesn’t appear to be a surfing beach as the waves are flat as a tac

Coogee Beach is one of Sydney's best beaches. It is not as big as Bondi, but not as small as Bronte in terms of the size of the beach and the commercial business around it. Within a short walk of Coogee Beach are restaurants, cafes,...More

Giles Bath was amazing. It was cold bc we were there during Winter but we had to go in. The waves are crashing over the rocks and yet the pool itself seemed safe. You can admire amazing rock formations at the bath, if swimming in...More

One of my favourite beaches in Sydney. The beach is really beautiful and you can spend all day long there with different activities. An ideal place for swimming in the nice clean and fresh water.

To me Coogee is the smaller, friendlier and cosier version of Bondi. Cafes and restaurants all a stone throw away from the beach itself. And the famous Coogee pavilion is right at the end of the beach if you’re looking for some great views with...More

Coogee beach seems to have a lot more to offer than the other beaches on the walk. You have the sand which the others have, but you also have a town behind it, with plenty of eateries, Whilst I was there, there was a game...More

People go on about the charms of better known beaches like Bondi and Manly but Coogee's the one for me. Good cliff top walks as well. Why do you think Richie Benaud chose to live here.

The weather wasn't great when I was here but wow- those waves pack a punch! Crashing on the rocks the waves made an impressive sight and sound. Beach is nice for an afternoon stroll (I'm not a beach person) or a sunset/ sunrise walk.

There are too many beautiful beaches just minutes outside of the urban Sydney setting, and Coogee is among them . It is hilly ( think San Francisco) with an immaculately kept beach just yards away from the shops and restaurants. The beach has a rock...More
