Lovely beach with nice white sand and a smaller lake /lagoon which is quite safe. There are rocks /shelter on one side with plenty of rocky areas /paths to walk around. Not many bars/restaurants which we liked about it.plenty of atmosphere there at any time and...More

This is a great family oriented beach. But if you want a little more variety, and interesting swimming (including some snorkeling) you might want to move one cove to the north, Gordon's Bay.

A little bit further out than Bondi but you can pick up a bus from Circular Quay and it will take you right there. The beach is better. The people are nicer but there just isn't as many food/souvenir/clothing/coffee shops as Bondi. There is a...More

Pleasant enough. Good sand and facilities. Doesn't have the crowds of some. Not that easy to get to.

An excellent beach to visit in summer or winter.... very accessible, and great surf. A deep beach with lawns and BBQ/picnic huts makes it a great place for a beach day with extended family/friends. Can get crowded in summer. Gorgeous in winter too with kids...More

At the end (or beginning) of the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk. Very nice beach with beautiful waters and white sand. Very clean. Lifeguard presence all over the beach. It is more family orientated than Bondi beach which seems to have a younger crowd. It...More

Beautiful beach! Lots of hotels and little shops along the way- dog-friendly and nice park where you can sit or walk, as well. Just beware of the magpies!
