After a pleasant cruise to the island we were very disappointed by what was on offer upon arrival. The foreshore areas were formerly oyster beds so it is razor sharp under foot and in the water. There is no seating and the rocks are too...More

We had a beautiful day at Shark Island. Just a stones throw from the city yet so quiet and Idyllic. A perfect place for a picnic. Wind can be a bit tricky so make sure you are positioned in sheltered position on a very windy...More

45 mins cruise ride away from Sydney CBD but a lovely small island with best view of Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera house & Sydney skyline. Worth visiting for a small picnic and great place for snorkeling if interested.

Spent over an hour here looking around from the hop on/off Captain Cook ferry. Plenty of seats, a few beaches, great views and a place to get away from it all.

Small island with an interesting aspect to see the city - great photos to be had. Snorkelling in the heart of Sydney is interesting - but not much to see really. Take a picnic as no facilities - apart from toilets on the island.
