I have travelled often to Sydney and always walk through the gardens. They are always so tidy and welcoming. Seeing people enjoying the gardens is such a lovely feeling. A very popular place.

The botanical gardens are gorgeous. The trees and plants and well kept and beautiful. There was a great exhibit on carnivorous plants while we were there that was free which was an added bonus. Don’t miss walking around the inlet to get a great view...More

The Botanic garden definitely live up to its name. Flowers bloom and a vast garden with the backdrop of the Sydney Harbour, bridge and opera house, what could u ask for? The exhibits of plant-eating plants was an eye opener, we have never seen so...More

A vast Garden with every conceivable type of plant. One needs more than a couple of hours to explore the entire garden. A must see when in Sydney.

It’s no secret that without the stunning harbour Sydney would be just another grimy city. I regularly spend two hours in these gardens, trekking, walking, dreaming, basking in the sunlight or even enjoying the wet weather. Rain can be so therapeutic. You have the majestic...More

Title says it all!! Can get busy, but hey it's Sydney. Touristy. Lots of signage to find your way. Has an electric train for tours. There's a Cafe in the middle.

Plan on making a day of the visit. Plants from not only Australia but also from all over the world. If you ever hear a Sydneysider complain about their weather use this place as an example of why they need to stop that nonsense. Only...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
