Beautiful green space in the madness of a city, plenty of room to either have a decent walk or just chill out. Fantastic for people watching.

Take a stroll or a brisk walk through these beautiful gardens (just to the side of the Sydney Opera House) for a different look at Sydney Harbour & a closer glimpse of the area of Garden Island, the naval establishment within Sydney Harbour. So pretty...More

What a beautifully kept space, so lush and green. It was New Year's day and so there was some work being done taking down all the cordoning for the evening before, but the walk was refreshing though wear sunscreen!!

Some great plants and walk through to the opera house and the museum on the other side. They have a train that takes you through also as is a large area to walk across.

Great location to explore and find shade while running, not to mention the stunning views of the harbour with the Opera House just around the corner- so close!

This is a lovely place to visit! Gorgeous plants and views. We have been twice and I'm still not sure we have seen everything! Great venue for NYE at the Calyx.

Fern Gully is a marvel -- so many different fern species! The cacti and succulents garden is lots equal. In each, I saw many species I'd never seen before. There's also an interesting Aborigine display, freshwater eels in one of the ponds, and much more.

Botanical garden is a Sydney icon. Always a good day out there, big enough to cater for a range of activities including hosting weddings, have group workout sessions or just relax with a friend or read a book.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
