Caught the bus down from Watson’s Bay. Walking from the main road to the beach involved negotiating a plethora of topless posers, narcissistically using outdoor gym equipment. That aside, the beach was pretty standard. Seen much better elsewhere in Australia and New Zealand.

Good beach to visit. Lots of shops to visit along the way. Great view for picture taking. Lots of wild cockatoos to see.

The sand is super soft but right now, the water is super cold. We enjoyed the view though and the area is very lively!

Very clean beach with a great view and great facilities. Buses pass and there is a lovely path to enjoy a relaxing walk.

If you have time go to manly on the ferry for great beaches and great food places. Bondi is nice and a must do but for a relaxing beach go to manly instead

I don't know when the calmest conditions are but my girls swam in mid June (which is their winter) and they didn't think it was cold.
