Train and ferry travel easy and accessible for wheelchair users. Although busy, The Manly Scenic Walkway is also accessible. A couple of spots require a quick push from an able bod, but generally accessible and recommended.

Get the ferry from Sydney across to Manley, a lovely peaceful area and well worth the visit. There's a nice walk around the edge sea with lots of bronze sculptures.

This is a great walk and is getting easier as the council continue to make improvements to the track, but can get busy on the weekends. Most people tend to start at the Spit, then get the 144/143 bus back.

The Manly Scenic walkway could easily confuse you with some Beverly hills or movie location ready to roll the camera and shoot.

I did this walk today from Manly, you can take the Manly ferry from Circular Quay, it's the scenic walkway from Manly to North Head but inbetween is Collins Flat Beach, even a beautiful waterfall, which was still flowing after not much rainfall. The walkway...More

There's not many better ways to kill a day than this walk, so much to see and do, always popular. You can take it easy too!

Having done the scenic walk from Spit Bridge to Manly we decided to do it in reverse. The views are amazing and we only had just over an hour before sunset so we did it in a short time. Well worth the effort. We are...More

Given the choice, I would recommend Manley Beach over Bondi, because of the Scenic Walkway. It is appropriately named....very scenic. The walk is easy and the history along the way is interesting.

We took the ferry from Harbor Quay to Manly and then walked from there all the way to the visitor center at North Head Sanctuary. A distance of about 8-to-10 km depending on how you walk it. We took the scenic route, which is somewhat...More

The walk requires a level of fitness. If you can walk OK and can climb 10 stairs at a time then you will have no problems. The walk takes approximately two hours including time to soak up the atmosphere. On the way you will experience...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants
