if you have the time this is a one to do, the views are amazing and lets you see another side of Sunday foreshore, an easy walk for all ages and good coffee awaits your return to manly at many locations

Short walk from the ferry through the street to the other shore and you're at the beginning of a lovely walkalong the sea front. Great views, nice beaches nearby and lizards sunbathing on the rocks.

We took the public ferry on a slow harbour ride then enjoyed an endless walk. There are lots of scenic paths to take.

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

August is a lovely time of the year for walking because it is not too hot. You can wear a jacket or jumper to start off but you will probably find that you take the jumper off once you have walked and warmed up. If it is a... More
