An easy walk with great lookout points. Good places to stop and have a swim. BBQs available at Shelley beach or some pleasant cafes to stop for food.

A few stairs along the trail but otherwise relatively easy hike. Make sure to leave enough time to stop for a swim along the way as you'll pass a number of beaches (some more secluded than others). At the end of the hike make sure...More

Take the ferry here, enjoy the beach and then do the walk way - less crowded than Bondi and, I think, nicer. See Sydney at play. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.

Morning runs were wonderful. As I was running, Aussies were surfing. So cool. Coffee-flat whites were amazing but over priced. A bit expensive to eat, however all the foods I ate were tasty

Beautiful views of manly and Manly Beach along the walkway. Lots of people out enjoying it, it is well-maintained, and a definite walkway to visit.

This walkway is suitable for walkers and cyclists and affords excellent views along its length. Many people walk their dogs along the path.

The walk is a nice antidote to the throng on Manly beach. The first part is a fairly easy walk along good paths along the coast of surburban Manly, it doesn’t take too long to get out into the preserve area though but take plenty...More

Lovely walk along the walkway where you can get breathtaking views of the Opera House and surrounding scenery. Worth doing.

Very relaxed walk. Lots of places to stop off. We prefer Manly to Bondi. Don't forget when you get off ferry to walk to the Ocean via the lanes opposite the ferry terminal as well as along the beach by the ferry.

Took the ferry to Manly where we walked the pedestrian mall with lots of shops and restaurants which led right up to Manly Beach. Much more narrow than Bondi Beach but a different kind of vibe. A bit more laid back with quaint little shops...More

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants

August is a lovely time of the year for walking because it is not too hot. You can wear a jacket or jumper to start off but you will probably find that you take the jumper off once you have walked and warmed up. If it is a... More
