A stunning iconic location at any time of the day or night! It is particularly stunning during the VIVID festival in May/June every year. Located on the stunning Sydney Harbour make sure you visit it from the outside & the inside!

The best views of the Opera House are from the Circular Quay. The ferry from CQ also give a nice view of the Opera House, specially at night.

I came here to see the pianist yiruma, the atmosphere and staff were spectacular and everything was well presented and beautiful. I would recommend anyone to see a show here if you have the opportunity.

This was bought ny a friend as an Xmas present for when my daughter and I travelled over to Sydney. Excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and fabulous to hear his enthusiasm and passion in speaking about the history of the Opera House. Loved it. We found it cheaper to book on line.

Such a majestic iconic building the Opera House was! Visited with my family and we went there during the day and also returned again at night to take in the stunning views. Definitely a must see when you're in Sydney!

Not surprising that the politicians messed around the original... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
