The experience came in three parts; the guided tour, dinner and the performance. The tour was a small party event led by an enthusiastic but uninspiring guide. Dinner was a huge disappointment apart from the wonderful venue. Food quality, portion size and presentation were poor; for the fish option, think boil in a bag the size of a post-it note... More

We all recognize the Opera House. Yes it is fantastic to visit. But even better is to attend a concert here. Wonderful acoustics, great atmosphere. Go!

Whoever comes to Sydney and not come here for a visit MUST be mad! haha! This place is easily accessible by Train. Stop at Circular Quay Station and right out you will pop out into the heart of Sydney Harbour where you can see the Sydney Bridge + the Opera House. Lots of things to do here, which cost money... What is Sydney without a visit to the Opera house, truly stunning piece of architecture. We didn't manage to get a tour round it as it was sold out, but it's not normally that busy. Went to see a show one evening and loved just being there.

There is an amazing story behind the design and building of the Opera House. Really worth the price of the tour even if you are attending an event at the Opera House. The inside is even more amazing than the outside and the roof up close is unbelievable! You cant say you have been to Sydney without going to the... More

A beautiful structure that is a must see and because of that be prepared that there will be many others there and it is very touristy. Tried twice to get drinks at Sydney Opera House Bar without success!

Looking forward to the Tour but disappointed. Group was too large. Audio bluetooth headphone reception linked to the guide was of poor quality so it was not possible to hear all of the details explained by the guide who was very knowledgeable, Guide commented on the size of the group when we mentioned that the audio was of poor quality-she... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
