The program is artist led and emerges from Carriageworks' commitment to reflecting social and cultural diversity. The Carriageworks artistic program is ambitious, risk taking and unrelenting in its support of artists. Carriageworks is open 10am - 6pm daily and open until late on performance nights.

Words fail to express my admoration for this place - Where you can buy organic produce and that does background check on the farmers selling their produce. Furthermore the veggies and fruit tastes like they should - with no fear of consuming pesticides or herbesides....More

I visited one of the artists in the newly established art studios. The signage is quite confusing. It is easy to get there if you are driving or taking a taxi.

We came to Carriageworks for an event, and had a great time. There's a restaurant and bar, as well as markets on the weekend for all to enjoy.

Not only was this a great venue for a 1100 person dinner, but the food was really good. Normally you would never expect perfectly cooked steak and first courses that are so good you pinch spares from the no-show seats! The service was also excellent....More

Actually I am answering my own question now that I've been there...Heaps of on street parking around there, no problem with a car although the Rangers are vigilant so don't overstay in timed spaces. Free parking too, no... More
