Great and way ride

This ferry provides great views of the opera house and is a short distance to manly. Once you get to manly I recommend walking over to the Manly beach.

Manly ferry does what it says on the tin, gets you to Manly. No other stops, 30 minutes, every 30 minutes ish. It can also get you very wet, if you decide to sit outside at the front, like we did! Same back again only wetter! Never learn.

With a half-day to spare before flying out, we chose to spend it by ferrying to Manly & looking around. Caught one of the traditional yellow & green ones over, then a catamaran back. Views were great. It's a pity there's no commentary for tourists though. We were really impressed with the amount of tourist info at the wharfside, both... More

Manly beach is a great ferry to take because it gives the best views of famous Sydney harbor! You exit the ferry, cross the street to a pedestrian zone, walk about 3 blocks, and hit the beach at the end of the pedestrian zone. There is a Coles supermarket on that pedestrian zone, where you can buy a snack or... More

You have a few options on getting to Manly but I would recommend taking the ferry. It is inexpensive, easy to find and you can have a drink while you're crossing the harbor taking in the views!

The freebies are always on time and are cheap and easy to book. The sights are sometimes breathtaking, especially as the freely from Manly turns into the harbour and the Harbour Bridge is on one side and the Opera house on the opposite side. Marvellous.

Jump on the ferry at circular quay and sit back and enjoy the beautiful harbour. When you arrive in manly approximately 40 ish mins later depending on how busy it is i recommend going on a adventure around Manly to see all the sights. It is a great day trip fun for all tourists and locals. Even if you just... More

You can take the express ferry but choose to take the green and gold slower one. Only about twenty minutes but you have time to see the sights of the harbor including Shark Island.
