Lovely walk

Superb spot on the mid north coast about 2 - 3 hours from Sydney Its not just this one beach (Boomerang), its the fact that there are 5 beaches within 10 min drive that all face a different direction so you can find that great wave or idyllic spot to relax. There is also a col little township with a... More

It took a few windy roads to find it but well worth the effort. Plenty of free parking when you get there. Toilets there too. The beach was great. I was only swimming but the waves were quite big and would spin me around each time, which was fun but would prob be too much for a kid.

Boomerang Beach is a wonderful surfing beach which gets great breaks. The beach is clean and the views are magnificent. There is lots of parking and at the northern end there is an amenities block and a couple of nice picnic tables. There is also a viewing platform which allows you to check out the surf. Just remember this beach... More

Imagine a the perfect family surf beach, then you are at Boomerang. Parking is plentiful, and although there is no surf club (5 minutes drive North to Elizabeth beach if you want a patrolled beach), Boomerang offers excellent quality sand, small to medium waves, and, for the keen, the opportunity to throw a line in and catch a few. Worth... More

This is a stunning beach named after its shape. Nestled between Blueys Beach to the south and Elizabeth Beach to the north approximately 10 minute drive south of Forster NSW this beach is clean quiet and a great surfing location. Many rental holiday houses nearby and small group of shops at Blueys Beach.

Excellent for surfing but , as indicated on beach board, strong currents and waves. However a perfect spot to walk and paddle for the more faint hearted. Our grandson spent many hours digging in the sand and was reluctant to leave. A very uncommercial spot with no life guard patrol.there are a few shops a walkable distance along the road.

Boomerang is a lovely beach and depending on the swell & wind direction you can normally get a good spot either at the Northern end or Southern, on Great days the whole Beach is your playground. It is not a patrolled beach so common sense must prevail and it is a bit rough at times so you have got to... More

We go to Boomerang Beach regularly and love staying at Boomers Beach House. Overlooking the beach, it's a great location. Boomerang Beach is a brilliant for surfing and swimming and the dolphins often surf the breaks with you. If it's blowing from the east, you can head to the surrounding beaches like Blueys , Elizabeth, Celito, Sandbar and Seven Mile.... More
