We paid to have a guided tour of Wombeyan Caves but were not told that there would be ladders to climb down (quite a few). As I have a fear of heights, I could not enter the cave. The tour guide was lovely and gave...More

We camped in a tent at the campground, The kids loved it, as the kangaroos and possums would come right up to our tents at night time. Caves themselves are a great experience, and outside there are toilets, showers, bbqs, and lots of grasses area...More

Management needs to take a hard look at the visitor experience it provides - the information, facilities and grounds are truly third-world standard... The cabins are grotty,...More

If you’re in the Mittagong Bowral area and you want to take in a cave tour it’s worth the drive down to Wombeyan Caves. The drive from Mittagong in, although tight and twisty, offers some great views of the countryside. Once there you can camp...More

The caves are breath taking! The self guided tour is easy and child friendly. The Wollondilly is at an intermediate fitness level with over 500 stairs down and up. It is worth it and suitable for ages 5 and up.

My partner and I decided to camp at Wombeyan Campgrounds over the long weekend. It was quite busy but there was more than enough room for all tents, camper trailers and caravans. There is water, kitchens and toilets. Very family friendly area. The cave tours...More

We were there last week and it was very dry. The best swimming spot at the moment is probably the Wollondilly River Nature Reserve.
