I visited the Fitzroy Falls in October last year. I have been there many times in the past and found it has something to offer all types of visitors. From several easy lookouts to a good 7km hike over a moderate graded hiking track. There is an information and and visitors centre with it's very own captive park ranger for... More

It's been a tourist attraction for decades and well worth stopping off to check out the fantastic scenery. The main falls & lookout is very close to the entrance within about 10 minutes of easy walking. There are tracks that go for mush longer if you want to keep going for more falls & scenery. This is the kind of... More

Such an easy place to get to from Sydney by car, and well worth it. The falls are very impressive, and the view from the lookout is great. The cafe and visitor centre is worth a look as well

Don't expect to many falls, it is not Iguaçu nor Niagara. Good point is the free entrance. They organised some path and platform, but you're always quite far of the falls, you're never get splashed :( If you visit the area you probably can't miss this, really safe for families

Bowral is a beautiful town in the Southern Highlands of NSW and only a 1.5-2 hour drive from Sydney (depending on traffic). The town has a lovely main street with a good choice of cafes, etc and very nice boutiques and homewares stores (if you like antiques you can find these as well). A short drive from Bowral and you... A hidden gem! Tour groups don't go so far from Sydney, focusing on Katoomba-Leura area, so few people seem to know about this place. No crowds, just beautiful nature here. Nice walks with amazing views. Totally worth a lengthy drive.

You don't need to spend long here if you're in a rush, but it's worth stopping. Even better if you can do 1-2 of the lovely walks along the ridge. You could easily spend 15 min or 2-3 hours depending on what you want to do. If you go in the dry season there won't be much water....obviously...clearly some people... More

Fitzroy falls is worth a visit to see the spectacular views over the escarpments. If you walk along the walking tracks you will see more beautiful scenery and lots of wild flowers. The tracks do have some steps but are not too steep.

Only a short walk to the falls & not far to drive from the main road. You do have to pay for parking though. The falls & the views are beautiful although don't go too close if you are afraid of heights as it is a long drop.

Nice easy walk down to the falls. The gorge area is very pretty. The viewing stand closest to the falls isn't best location for pictures. Unfortunately the falls are not over flowing with lots of water right now. We walked a bit further for better viewing. There are quite a view steps involved, fyi. So if you have limited mobility...
